About the Journal

The Journal of Advanced Research in Social and Behavioural Sciences (JARSBS) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and scholarly dialogue across the broad fields of social and behavioural sciences. The journal provides a global platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate high-quality research that enhances understanding of human behaviour, social processes, institutions, communities, and the complex interactions between individuals and society.

JARSBS particularly welcomes research that addresses contemporary social and behavioural issues from international, cross-cultural, interdisciplinary, and comparative perspectives. The journal encourages contributions involving diverse populations, societies, cultures, and geographical regions, including studies that examine similarities and differences across countries and communities. Research addressing global and transnational challenges, as well as locally grounded studies with clear relevance or implications beyond their immediate geographical context, is strongly encouraged.

The journal aims to facilitate the international exchange of knowledge and perspectives by providing a forum for scholarship from both developed and emerging economies. JARSBS values methodological, theoretical, cultural, and geographical diversity and encourages collaborative research involving scholars and institutions across national and disciplinary boundaries.

JARSBS welcomes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, conceptual and theoretical papers, case studies, methodological papers, short communications, and scholarly commentaries. Interdisciplinary studies that integrate perspectives from multiple areas of the social and behavioural sciences are particularly encouraged.

While JARSBS welcomes studies conducted within individual countries or communities, manuscripts should clearly articulate the broader theoretical, methodological, societal, or international significance of their findings. The journal seeks contributions that move beyond purely descriptive local observations by demonstrating how the research contributes to wider scholarly debates, comparative understanding, policy development, or knowledge applicable across different social and cultural contexts.

Through its international and interdisciplinary orientation, JARSBS seeks to strengthen global scholarly exchange, promote diverse perspectives, and contribute to a deeper understanding of the rapidly changing social and behavioural dynamics shaping societies worldwide.
